Training Huddles

What is this and who is it for?

Huddles are content driven.

A group of 4-6 people who commit to a shared 6 month journey of engaging with content and challenges, & having a setting to apply & process their responses. Normally the groups come together around a particular theme or shared focus, and consist of leaders from different sectors: business, creative arts, church, charity or education.

The main criteria is that you have a setting to apply what we are considering, so you can reflect back to the group your responses of what you are putting into practice.

There are a few different kinds of huddle:

For coaches; for leadership; for healthy households

Coaches Huddle

An initial 6 month commitment to a journey of learning and putting into practice your Coaching Culture. Focussing on the key principles of coaching delivery, it’s an opportunity to journey with a cohort committed to:

A monthly online ‘huddle’ as the face2face time that compliments wider study and practical challenges

  • A 2 hour commitment each week to reflect, read, watch, journal, do coaching activations, seek feedback from others, & send feedback to the group.

There is also a 1-2-1 session with the huddle leader during the 6 month process.

2 books accompany us as guides through the 1st 6 months, with a monthly focus on a key coaching theme, and opportunity in each huddle to do ‘live' observed coaching & answer that month’s ‘Quiller Question’.

Huddles start in October & April running in 6 monthly cycles.

🗣️
I absolutely LOVED the huddles with Mal.  Each month we were set learning tasks and reading and then we got together to talk through and practise.  We were all using our coaching skills in different environments and yet could still cheer each other on and learn from each other. I gained some really valuable coaching tools and the whole experience really boosted my confidence for my own work.
